Frequently Asked Questions
What skill level is this guitar suited for?
The M-1000QM is designed for intermediate, advanced, and professional players. The set-thru construction, compound radius fretboard, and 24 extra-jumbo frets support both chording and aggressive lead work, making it ideal for players pursuing metal, hard rock, progressive, and fusion styles.
Does this guitar come with a case or cables?
The guitar ships with D'Addario XL120 strings (.009–.042 gauge) installed. A case, cables, or other accessories are not included; you'll want to add those separately for transport and live use.
How do the Fishman Fluence pickups compare to standard humbuckers?
The direct-mount Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers use alnico magnets in the neck (warm, articulate) and ceramic magnets in the bridge (aggressive, bright). The push-pull active electronics add a secondary voicing per pickup, giving you four tonal characters from one switch—more range than a standard humbucker pair.
Will this guitar stay in tune during aggressive playing or dive-bombing?
Yes. The 42mm locking nut, Floyd Rose 1000SE bridge with stainless steel screws, and Grover tuners work together to maintain tuning stability even under intense bending and whammy-bar abuse.
What genres does this guitar handle best?
The M-1000QM excels at metal, hard rock, progressive, fusion, and rock. The warm neck pickup and aggressive bridge pickup are optimized for those styles; it is not voiced for blues, folk, or country.
