Description
Sound & Tone
The alder body with burled poplar top, neck-thru construction, and Hipshot hardtail with string-thru stringing give this guitar a tight, sustaining voice with firm low end and clear attack. The Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers push that further, with a ceramic bridge for cutting, high-output rhythm and lead tones and an alnico neck that stays articulate under gain, while the push-pull voicing switches between two distinct pickup modes for cleaner or more aggressive textures. With an extra-thin maple neck, Macassar ebony board, compound radius, and 24 stainless frets, it favors modern metal, prog, and hard rock players working fast riffs and high-register lead lines.
ESP LTD M-1000HT Ebony Fingerboard — Black Natural Fade
The M-1000HT captures articulate, controlled tones through its neck-thru-body construction and extra-thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck that enables precise fretting for tight session work. This is a high-output modern instrument engineered for recording clarity, tracking accuracy, and reliable onboard voicing in a refined package.
Build & Construction
Neck-thru-body architecture with an alder body and burled poplar top ensures resonance and sustain while maintaining a balanced weight. The extra-thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck paired with a Macassar ebony fingerboard creates a durable, fast playing surface with natural satin finish on the back for comfortable access to upper frets—critical for recording takes that demand consistency and reach.
Recording & Tone
The 300–400mm compound radius fingerboard with 24 XJ stainless steel frets locks in intonation across open position chords and high-register lead lines without dead spots or tracking issues. Direct-mounted Fishman Fluence Modern Humbuckers — Alnico in the neck and Ceramic in the bridge — deliver definition and separation in the mix, with a push-pull voicing control that toggles between articulate and saturated character without requiring setup changes between takes.
