George Lynch Signature Guitars for Recording

For producers and engineers, a George Lynch guitar is a source of high-gain rock and metal lead tones. The series, covering the Desert Eagle, GL-200K Kamikaze and ESP GL models, loads each superstrat with Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickups, and those pickups are the main reason it records the way it does: thick, hot output that drives an amp or a plug-in hard and cuts through dense arrangements.

The Floyd Rose tremolo adds studio value too. Dives, flutters and wide vibrato are part of the sound for 1980s-style hard rock parts, and a locking system gives you the option to capture them in a take. Layered rhythm and lead tracking suits this kind of guitar, especially for heavy productions in the Dokken and Lynch Mob tradition.

Pricing runs from around $699 to $7,849. ESP LTD models such as the Desert Eagle and the GL-200K in a tiger-style finish suit a home-studio budget, while the ESP GL Desert Eagle in black is the premium choice. Studio Gears carries the series for players building a rock-ready guitar collection.

George Lynch Signature Guitars (ESP & LTD) - frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the ESP LTD and ESP George Lynch guitars?

The ESP LTD models, such as the Desert Eagle and the GL-200K in a tiger-style finish, are the more accessible way into the design. The ESP GL Desert Eagle in black with the graphic sits at the top of the range. The price band runs from entry-level to premium.

Are George Lynch signature guitars good for hard rock and metal?

Yes. They have a superstrat-style body, a Floyd Rose tremolo and Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickups. The locking tremolo handles dive bombs and wide vibrato, and the pickups are aimed at aggressive hard rock and heavy metal lead playing. Players of expressive, high-gain 1980s-style shred will find the layout familiar.

What features do George Lynch ESP and LTD guitars share?

The Desert Eagle graphic, the GL-200K Kamikaze and the ESP GL models share a high-performance superstrat body shape. All are built around a Floyd Rose tremolo and Seymour Duncan Screamin' Demon pickups. Every instrument is set up and professionally packed, with free US shipping and 30-day returns.
