ESP LTD EC-01FT Vintage Burst Electric Guitar B-Stock
The EC-01FT is engineered for tracking and layering across blues, rock, metal, and contemporary sessions. A comfortable, fast neck and set-thru construction yield consistent performance take after take, while the solid mahogany body provides satisfying resonance and punch that records with clarity and definition. The thin U neck contour and 24.75" scale make it equally effective for studio work, live capture, or home recording exploration. This B-Stock unit carries all the tonal character and playability of the standard model at a reduced price point.
Playability & Neck Design for Studio Work
A thin U neck contour paired with a 43mm nut width and 350mm fingerboard radius creates a fast, responsive feel across the fretboard—ideal for executing takes with precision and consistency. The 22 XJ Stainless Steel frets on Macassar Ebony are built to last, offering smooth articulation and excellent durability through extended session work and overdubbing.
Tone & Electronics in the Mix
The Seymour Duncan Custom 14 pickup delivers warm, focused tones with excellent sustain and clarity, cutting through dense arrangements while maintaining articulation. The push-pull volume knob enables instant single-coil splitting for expanded sonic range within a single take or session. A recessed TonePros TOM bridge with string-thru body design maximizes sustain and stability, anchoring thick rhythm stacks and supporting articulate lead overdubs alike.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does B-Stock mean, and does it affect tone or playability?
B-Stock means this unit has minor cosmetic imperfections—light blemishes and surface wear on the body and headstock—from inventory handling. These marks are purely superficial and have zero impact on tone, playability, or structural integrity; the guitar is fully functional with all original specifications and manufacturer warranty intact.
Is the EC-01FT good for beginners?
Yes. The thin U-neck contour, 43mm nut width, and fast fretboard response make it comfortable for developing players, while the balanced warm tone and excellent sustain reward both beginner and advanced technique. It's equally suited to intermediate and advanced players exploring blues, rock, and metal.
What pickup is included, and can I change the tone?
The Seymour Duncan Custom 14 pickup delivers warm, focused tones with excellent clarity and sustain. The push-pull volume knob lets you instantly split the pickup to single-coil mode, expanding your sonic range without needing a second pickup or rewiring.
How does the bridge design affect sustain and stability?
The recessed TonePros TOM bridge with string-thru body design maximizes sustain and tuning stability by anchoring the strings directly through the body, giving you dependable intonation for both studio tracking and live performance.
What genres and styles is this guitar best suited for?
The EC-01FT excels in blues, rock, metal, and contemporary studio sessions. Its warm, articulate tone and thick lows make it less ideal for jazz and folk, where a brighter or more open tonal character is typically preferred.
Do I pay sales tax on this order?
