Description
Sound & Tone
All-mahogany construction with a set-thru neck and string-thru TonePros bridge gives this single-cutaway a thick, sustaining midrange, while the Macassar ebony fingerboard and 24.75" scale keep note attack tight and articulate. The ESP-exclusive Seymour Duncan Custom 14 covers a wide range, from clear chime-like cleans to saturated rock and metal crunch, with the push-pull coil split thinning things out for lighter rhythm and clean passages. The thin U neck, flat 350mm radius and extra-jumbo stainless frets favor fast lead work and heavy riffing, making it a natural fit for left-handed players in modern metal and hard rock.
ESP LTD EC-01FT Black Lefty Electric Guitar B-Stock
The EC-01FT Lefty captures aggressive modern tones and articulate lead work with a thin U-shaped neck contour and 43mm nut width that enable fast playing and wide chord voicings for session tracking and live overdubs. This left-handed single-cutaway cuts through a dense mix with premium mahogany construction and set-thru heel design that grants unobstructed fretboard access all the way to the 22nd fret—delivering sustained, clear tones ideal for layered arrangements without tonal compromise.
Recording & Build Quality
Set-thru construction with a three-piece mahogany neck joins a flat-top mahogany body, delivering rich sustain and a rigid platform for precise intonation across multiple takes and sessions. The Macassar ebony fingerboard features 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets with pearloid block inlays, a 24.75" scale length, and a 350mm fingerboard radius—all engineered to capture clean, articulate note definition and support the full dynamic range needed in studio productions.
Tone Shaping & Electronics
The Seymour Duncan Custom 14 pickup is exclusive to ESP and captures versatile voicing from clean chime to sizzling rock and metal attack, sitting well across multiple tracks and mix scenarios.
