Description
Sound & Tone
The mahogany body and set-thru neck joint, topped with quilted maple and strung over a 24.75-inch scale, give this EC-1000QM a warm, thick core with long sustain and clear harmonic detail. Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers sharpen that foundation, with the ceramic bridge unit delivering tight, high-output rhythm attack and the alnico neck pickup offering rounder, vocal lead tones, all with the even response and low noise of active electronics. It sits comfortably in metal and hard rock while retaining enough nuance for blues phrasing and progressive playing, and the macassar ebony board adds a firm, defined edge to the note attack.
ESP LTD Deluxe EC-1000QM See Thru Black Cherry Guitar
The EC-1000QM is engineered to deliver clarity and articulation in any recording scenario. Its smooth three-piece mahogany neck and perfectly contoured body facilitate extended session work, while set-thru construction combined with a resonant mahogany body and stunning quilted maple top produces rich, articulate tone with excellent sustain and harmonic complexity. This instrument tracks exceptionally well across metal, hard rock, blues, and progressive applications, equally capable of thick, saturated rhythm tones or expressive, nuanced lead voicings that cut through a dense mix.
Playability & Feel
The 24.75-inch scale length and macassar ebony fingerboard with 350mm radius provide comfortable fretting across the neck, enabling precise intonation during tracking and long overdub sessions. 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets support extended bending range and articulate, repeatable performances. LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking TOM bridge with tailpiece ensure rock-solid tuning stability across multiple takes and layered guitar parts.
Tone & Electronics
The Fishman Fluence Modern Humbucker pickup set—featuring an alnico neck pickup and ceramic bridge pickup with black nickel covers—delivers authoritative, defined output with natural compression and clarity that sits prominently in dense arrangements. Active electronics with volume/volume/tone/toggle switch configuration provide full control over front-end character, from tight, focused rhythm tones to singing, sustained lead tones that maintain definition through compression and EQ.
