Description
ESP CECXLFF Form-Fit Hardshell Case for EC Baritone/7-String
The ESP CECXLFF is a factory-issued, form-fit hardshell case designed specifically for extended-scale EC-body instruments — this listing is for the case alone; no guitar is included. Studio players and session musicians who move baritone or seven-string EC guitars between rooms, facilities, or sessions need a case that holds those longer instruments securely, and that is exactly what this XL design addresses. It is the purpose-built storage and transport solution for EC guitars that outgrow a standard-length case.
Fit & Compatibility
The CECXLFF is engineered to fit the LTD EC 401 Baritone, ZH-EC-7B, and EC-407B — extended-scale, EC-body guitars that require the additional length this XL case provides over ESP's standard CECFF model.
Construction & Protection
A solid wood shell with tolex covering gives the exterior structural rigidity, while the form-fit plush interior holds the instrument firmly in place and insulates it from humidity and temperature shifts common in studio environments. Metal latches keep the case sealed, and a top grip handle allows for steady, controlled carrying.
