ESP E-II Guitars for Recording

For a studio guitar rack, ESP E-II offers consistency and tonal range. These Tokyo-built instruments use premium woods, Gotoh and Floyd Rose hardware, and EMG or Seymour Duncan pickups, which gives producers a dependable source of tone for tracking. Studio Gears carries the series for home-studio owners and engineers who need a guitar that records well.

Pickup choice matters most in the mix. Active EMGs deliver a tight, quiet, high-output signal that stays focused under heavy gain and sits cleanly alongside bass and drums. Seymour Duncan models give a more open, dynamic character that takes well to clean passes and layered overdubs. Body shapes such as Eclipse, Viper, M-II, Arrow, SN-III and ST give you different attack and sustain to choose from, so one session can cover rhythm stacks, leads and textures.

Tuning stability from the hardware helps when you are punching in parts or doubling takes. The lineup spans roughly $2,399 to $4,199, with B-Stock examples appearing now and then for studios building a guitar collection with some budget awareness.

Which ESP E-II body style is best for hard rock and metal?
