The ESP E-II Alexi Ripped Sawtooth is a high-performance metal machine, built in Japan with uncompromising precision and designed by the late Alexi Laiho — one of the most influential metal guitarists of all time. Featuring an offset V-shaped alder body and neck-thru-body construction at a 25.5” scale, the E-II Alexi Ripped offers supreme sustain, effortless access to all 24 frets, and a commanding stage presence. Its three-piece maple neck with a Thin U profile and natural satin finish ensures fast, comfortable playability. The ebony fingerboard — scalloped from frets 19–24 — adds precision control for extreme bends and articulate phrasing.

The “Ripped” design marks the first Alexi Laiho Signature Series model to feature dual pickups. It’s loaded with an EMG HZ F-H2 passive humbucker in the bridge for crisp, aggressive tones and an EMG HZ S2 stacked single-coil in the neck for balanced mids and smooth low-end response. For extra power and tonal versatility, the guitar includes the ESP MM-04 active boost switch — a built-in preamp circuit with adjustable EQ and up to +18dB of boost, perfect for leads and solos that demand attention.

Premium hardware includes a Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo for flawless dive-bombs and tuning stability, Gotoh locking tuners, and ESP strap locks.
