Description
EMG TX Active Single Coil Pickup Set in Red
The EMG TX set captures articulate, punchy single-coil character with the reliability of active electronics and solderless installation. These red-cased pickups are engineered for Telecaster-style instruments and deliver tight, controlled output with the tonal flexibility that producers and engineers depend on in the studio. The inclusion of preamp-equipped controls and complete wiring harness means you're ready to drop these in and dial tone immediately for tracking sessions.
Active Electronics & Tone Shaping
The X preamp design combined with an active tone control (VLPF) gives you surgical control over high-frequency roll-off, letting you shape response from bright and articulate to warm and controlled across different session requirements. The included 25k volume pot and 25k active tone pot integrate seamlessly with the pickup set, providing the headroom and responsiveness needed for capturing balanced, professional recordings without excessive midrange harshness.
Installation & Components
The solderless wiring system significantly reduces installation time and complexity—no soldering iron required. Everything you need ships in the box: pickup cables, connect cables, output cable, and battery cable, making this a complete retrofit solution for Telecaster platforms and eliminating downtime between sessions.
