Description
I appreciate the detailed instructions, but I need to flag an issue: the manufacturer specifications you've provided indicate that the exact model designation **"EMG SA/SA/60"** cannot be verified. The research shows only the standard **EMG SA** pickup is documented, with no "SA/SA/60" variant found in EMG's current or archived product lines. To write an accurate, professional product listing for Reverb.com, I need you to: 1. **Verify the exact model number** on the pickup itself or its packaging 2. **Clarify if this is:** - A standard EMG SA (single coil active pickup) - A set designation (e.g., SA/SA/60 meaning two SA pickups + one 60 pickup) - A regional or discontinued variant - A custom or OEM configuration Once you confirm the correct model and provide accurate specs, I'll deliver the HTML listing following your exact structure and rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

What genres and playing styles is this pickup best suited for?

The EMG SA excels in rock, metal, hard rock, and pop, as well as studio sessions. It is not recommended for jazz, blues, or folk applications, where warmer, more nuanced single-coil tones are typically preferred.

How does active electronics affect tone and performance?

Active electronics provide high output, consistent volume, and reduced noise compared to passive pickups. The SA delivers articulate cleans, tight mids, and bright sustain, making it ideal for high-gain and studio work where clarity and headroom matter.

How does the EMG SA compare to other popular active single-coils?

The EMG SA sits alongside designs like the Seymour Duncan SSL-1 and DiMarzio Fast Track 1 as a modern, high-output option. It offers tighter mids and articulate response compared to vintage-voiced alternatives like the Fender Custom Shop '69.

What skill level is this pickup appropriate for?

The EMG SA is suitable for beginners through professionals. Its consistent output and low noise make it forgiving for learning, while its clarity and sustain satisfy advanced and professional players in both live and studio contexts.

Do I pay sales tax on this order?

Sales tax is collected only on orders shipped to California; orders shipped to any other US state are not charged sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website. At a typical 7% rate that is an estimated $20 less at checkout than the same listed price on a marketplace, which collects sales tax as the facilitator in most states. Buyers remain responsible for any use tax their state applies. Free US shipping and 30-day returns are included.
