Description
EMG HA Active Single Coil Pickup in White
The EMG HA captures single-coil clarity and articulation in a compact humbucker-sized housing, eliminating the noise floor that typically plagues traditional single coils. This active pickup excels in studio tracking and mixing where vintage-style responsiveness without hum is essential, making it ideal for both neck and bridge installations on six-string instruments.
Tone & Electronics
Engineered with an Alnico magnet and a resonant frequency of 3.7 kHz, the HA delivers the harmonic definition and snap of a true single coil while the active circuitry ensures a silent, noise-free signal path for recording. This combination produces articulate highs, open midrange, and tight lows—critical for maintaining clarity in dense mixes and capturing authentic single-coil character during layered overdubs without introducing unwanted noise into your tracks.
Installation & Compatibility
The noiseless active design fits seamlessly into humbucker routing without modification, and the package includes everything needed for a complete installation: EMG's exclusive Quik-Connect cable, prewired split shaft volume/tone control set, output jack, battery clip set, screws, and springs. Versatility across neck and bridge positions means a single HA can cover either role depending on your session's tonal requirements, streamlining your studio's pickup inventory.
