Description
EMG H Active Single Coil Pickup in Brushed Black Chrome
The EMG H captures articulate, noise-free single-coil character in a compact footprint designed for drop-in installation. This active pickup pairs ceramic-magnet clarity with EMG's legendary noiseless circuitry, making it an ideal upgrade for recording setups where definition and hum-free operation are essential across versatile six-string sessions.
Design & Construction
Built with a single-coil design housed in a humbucker-size body, the EMG H maintains traditional single-coil responsiveness while fitting standard humbucker routing without modification. The brushed black chrome finish complements modern and vintage aesthetics equally, and the ceramic magnet core delivers the articulate midrange and extended highs that sit clearly in mix balance—characteristic of quality single-coil architecture that tracks well in the studio.

Solderless installation eliminates wiring complexity—the included components integrate directly into your instrument's cavity via bus connectors, keeping session downtime minimal. The complete system ships with a 25k volume pot, 25k tone pot, battery bus, stereo output jack, two pickup in/out bus connectors, mounting hardware, springs, and all necessary cables, enabling a full active system upgrade in minutes and ready for immediate tracking.
