What type of guitar does this pickup fit?

The EMG ACS is designed as a soundhole pickup for acoustic guitars. It mounts inside the sound hole and works with standard acoustic guitar body designs.

Do I need a battery or power supply to use this pickup?

No. The EMG ACS is a passive pickup, so it requires no batteries, phantom power, or external power source—plug it directly into your amp or interface.

What does passive mean for tone?

Passive pickups reproduce the acoustic guitar's natural tone without active EQ or signal boosting. You get transparent amplification of your instrument's inherent sound.

Is installation difficult?

Soundhole pickups like the ACS are non-invasive and mount inside the sound hole with no drilling required, making installation straightforward for most players.

Do I pay sales tax on this order?

Sales tax is collected only on orders shipped to California; orders shipped to any other US state are not charged sales tax at checkout when you buy direct from our website. At a typical 7% rate that is an estimated $13 less at checkout than the same listed price on a marketplace, which collects sales tax as the facilitator in most states. Buyers remain responsible for any use tax their state applies. Free US shipping and 30-day returns are included.

EMG ACS 6-String Bass Pickup in White - 3429

I appreciate the detailed instructions, but I cannot in good faith write this product listing. The manufacturer specifications you've provided indicate that **no reliable specifications exist for an "EMG ACS 6-String Bass Pickup."** The EMG ACS is an acoustic guitar soundhole pickup, not a bass pickup. EMG does not appear to make a product by this exact name for 6-string bass. Your rules explicitly state: - "Only include specs you are confident are accurate for this specific model" - "Use these verified manufacturer specifications — every spec listed here must appear in the Key Features list" Since verified specs don't exist for this product as named, and the specifications provided confirm it may not exist as described, I cannot create a listing that would misrepresent the product to potential buyers. **I recommend:** 1. Verifying the exact model number (e.g., EMG P6, EMG 45J, or confirm if this is actually an acoustic ACS) 2. Providing corrected manufacturer specifications once the actual model is confirmed 3. Resubmitting with accurate product details I'm happy to write the listing once the product identity is clarified.
