Description
EMG ACS 6-String Acoustic Guitar Pickup in Green
The EMG ACS is a soundhole-mounted pickup engineered to capture articulate, transparent tone from acoustic instruments for studio recording and live amplification. Its compact, unobtrusive design preserves the instrument's natural resonance and aesthetic while delivering reliable signal integrity to your audio interface or mixing console. The bright green finish makes this unit visually distinctive and easy to identify in a crowded studio setup or pedalboard.
Recording & Tracking Fidelity
This pickup excels at capturing the full frequency range of acoustic guitars with transparency essential for mixing, with a 14kHz resonant frequency that preserves articulation and natural sustain through the production chain. The 0.5V output voltage and 2K ohms output impedance ensure clean signal transmission to your interface or console with minimal noise coloration—–96dBV output noise keeps the tracking and mixing chain transparent and free of hum artifacts.
Studio Integration & Control
The adjustable pole pieces allow you to fine-tune output balance across all six strings for consistent tracking and easier mixing, accommodating different playing dynamics and string gauges across multiple takes. Power consumption is exceptionally efficient at 220 microamps @ 6 volts, meaning a single battery will sustain weeks of regular studio sessions. The unit accepts up to 27 volts DC maximum supply, making it compatible with both compact and full-sized pedalboard or studio power systems.
