How to Request Deletion of Your Personal Data
Studio Gears respects your right to control your personal information. You may request deletion of the personal data we hold about you — including your customer account, order history contact details, and any marketing preferences — at any time.
To submit a deletion request
- Email contact@studiogears.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request", sent from the email address associated with your account or orders. You may also call us at 951-302-0222.
- Tell us what you would like deleted (your entire account, or specific information).
- We will verify your identity and confirm your request within a few business days.
Verified requests are completed within 30 days. We will send you confirmation once your data has been deleted.
What we may need to retain
Certain records are exempt from deletion where retention is required by law — for example, completed order and invoice records needed for tax, accounting, warranty, and fraud-prevention purposes. Any such records are retained only as long as legally required and are never used for marketing after a deletion request.
Facebook and Instagram shoppers
If you discovered our products through our Facebook or Instagram shop, your purchase is completed on our own website and we receive only the information needed to process your order. We do not receive or store data from your Facebook or Instagram profile. The deletion process above covers all data we hold, however you shopped with us. This page serves as the data deletion instructions for Studio Gears' Meta (Facebook) applications.
