Description
JBL C222HP-BOT Bottom Section Only — Cinema ScreenArray
The C222HP-BOT is the lower enclosure section of JBL Professional's C222HP two-way cinema ScreenArray, engineered for medium to large cinema installations, post-production studios, and dubbing stages. This bottom section houses the critical low-frequency drivers and must be paired with the C222HP-TOP upper section (sold separately) and a bi-amp power amplifier to form a complete operational system.
System Architecture & Driver Configuration
The bottom section contains 2 × 2275H-BK low-frequency drivers and serves as the foundation of the C222HP's two-way bi-amp-only design. Combined with the top section's high-frequency drivers, the complete system achieves 44 Hz–18 kHz frequency response at −3 dB and 40 Hz–20 kHz at −6 dB, with 100-degree horizontal coverage and asymmetrical 60-degree vertical coverage (+25/−45 at 4 kHz) for precise screen-filling performance.
Power Handling & Electrical Specifications
The low-frequency section is rated for 1200 W power handling (2 hr AES) and operates at 4 ohms nominal impedance on the LF channel, while the complete system's high-frequency section runs at 8 ohms nominal impedance with 85 W power handling (2 hr AES). Connectivity via screw-terminal barrier-strip inputs ensures secure, professional installation in permanent and temporary cinema environments.
Key Features
- Bottom enclosure section only — top section (C222HP-TOP) sold separately; requires both sections for complete system
