BSS EC-V-BLK-US Ethernet Controller

BSS EC-V-BLK-US Ethernet Controller

The BSS EC-V-BLK-US is a wall-mounted control interface built for studio and networked audio environments requiring real-time parameter adjustment and monitoring during recording and mixing sessions. Its single-gang US Decora form factor integrates seamlessly into standard wall installations, while the tactile push/rotary encoder delivers responsive control for live mixing, session automation, and equipment management. This controller connects directly into networked HiQnet systems, eliminating the need for external power supplies or additional cabling.

Control & Interface Design

The integrated push/rotary encoder with multi-color backlit encoder ring (eight selectable colors with adjustable intensity) provides intuitive parameter control and visual feedback during tracking and mixing without requiring external displays. Configuration and monitoring occur entirely through drag-and-drop operations in HiQnet Audio Architect software, allowing custom parameter mapping and workflow customization tailored to your studio setup and session requirements.

Network Integration & Power

A single Ethernet port handles configuration, control, monitoring, and power delivery via PoE (Power over Ethernet), eliminating the need for dedicated power infrastructure in your control chain. The controller includes sleep functionality that automatically turns off all LEDs after a user-specified idle time, reducing power consumption and maintaining a clean, distraction-free control environment during recording and mixing work.
