AKG SRA2B/EW Active Antenna
The AKG SRA2B/EW is a professional-grade active antenna engineered for wireless microphone systems operating in the UHF band. This compact, rugged unit captures clean RF signals in studio environments and on location, with built-in amplification that cuts through RF noise and extends effective transmission range significantly.
RF Performance & Coverage
Operating across the 470–952 MHz frequency range, this antenna covers the full spectrum required for modern wireless mic applications. The 22 dB total gain from the built-in amplifier ensures strong signal acquisition even in challenging RF environments, while the 70° covering angle provides directional pickup suited to fixed studio placement and booth monitoring setups.
Installation & Durability
The BNC connector integrates with standard wireless receiver equipment, and the included universal thread adapter accommodates both 3/8" and 5/8" screw mounts for flexible placement options. Waterproof construction qualifies this antenna for permanent outdoor deployment and weather-resistant studio locations, and the remote-powered design eliminates the need for separate power supplies by drawing current through the antenna cable itself.
