The PT470 delivers up to 14 hours of operation on a single AA-size battery, and the integrated charging contacts allow you to charge a standard NiMH rechargeable battery inside the transmitter itself.

What microphones does this body pack work with?

The professional mini XLR audio connector makes the PT470 compatible with a broad range of lavalier and headset microphones, so you can use it with many third-party condenser and dynamic options.

Is there a way to mute the microphone remotely during a live event?

Yes, an optional RMS4000 external mute switch can be connected to the transmitter for remote muting of the microphone during performance or worship.

How does the pilot tone transmission help during a gig?

Pilot tone transmission continuously sends transmitter data—including low battery warnings—to the receiver, preventing unexpected startup noise and giving you early warning of power issues before they interrupt your performance.

Is this transmitter easy to set up in a new venue?

The PT470 features infrared synchronization for instant transmitter setup, and its compact, rugged design fits comfortably on a performer's body for quick deployment in worship, theater, and conference environments.
