What's the main construction difference between these cases?
The SGR-21-NS features hardwood shell with black vinyl tolex and black monkey fur lining, plus metal latches with a lockable middle latch. The 982 has a rigid hardshell exterior with plush-lined interior and a secure latch closure system. Both are hardshell cases designed for professional protection.
Does the warranty and shipping differ between them?
The 982 includes free shipping in the continental US and a full Schecter manufacturer's warranty. The SGR-21-NS listing does not mention these benefits, so verify shipping and warranty terms separately.
