Do both guitars have the same neck comfort and playability?
Both feature 25.5" scale and 'C'-shaped maple necks, but the Sun Valley's thinner neck (.787" at 1st fret) is optimized for speed and extended technique, while the PT Special's neck (.826" at 1st fret) offers a slightly fuller, more traditional feel suitable for all skill levels.
What are the B-Stock cosmetic issues and do they affect functionality?
The Sun Valley Super Shredder FR has a small body ding; the PT Special has a hairline crack in the neck pocket visible in close-up. Both seller confirm these are cosmetic only and do not affect playability or structural integrity.
Which guitar requires battery maintenance?
