Frequently asked questions
Can I use the Stratus Dry Hat Bottom as a replacement for a worn cymbal?
Yes. Sabian manufactures these cymbals individually so you can replace a single worn piece or experiment with custom top/bottom combinations without buying a full set.
Will the MAX Protect case fit cymbals other than Sabian brand?
The description specifies it holds up to 10 cymbals with 22" maximum diameter and internal felt padding, so it will accommodate standard cymbal sizes from any brand, though fit may vary.
What genres does the Stratus Dry Hat Bottom work best in?
It is optimized for rock, metal, funk, and jazz, with characteristics including tight articulation, clear definition, warm wash, and crisp stick response that suit these styles.
Is the MAX Protect case suitable for home practice storage?
While it offers excellent protection, it is engineered and priced for touring and gigging musicians; home practitioners might prefer simpler storage solutions, though the case will work for any storage need.
