Frequently asked questions
Will these cases fit other bass or guitar models?
No. The CSTREAMFF is engineered specifically for ESP Stream series basses, including JC-4 body shapes. The CSTXLFF is designed exclusively for the ESP Stef Carpenter TE-7B Baritone and LTD SCT-607B. Verify your exact model before purchasing, as mismatched cases will not provide secure fit or protection.
What is the key construction difference between these cases?
The CSTREAMFF features a rigid hard shell exterior with internal padding and metal latches, offering modern impact absorption. The CSTXLFF uses all-wood shell construction wrapped in Tolex, providing traditional road-case durability optimized for heavier, oversized instruments.
Which case is better for touring and gigging?
Both are tour-ready, but for different instruments. The CSTREAMFF's hard shell and comfort grip handle suit frequent bass player transport. The CSTXLFF's heavy-duty handle and wood construction are built to handle the extra weight and bulk of extended-scale baritone guitars on the road.
Do both cases include the instrument?
No. Both listings are case only — the bass guitar and guitar are sold separately and not included with your purchase.
