Frequently asked questions
Will the CAPBASSFF fit my electric guitar?
No. The CAPBASSFF is form-fitted exclusively for ESP AP-series bass guitars in right-handed configuration. It is not compatible with electric guitars or other bass body styles.
Can the CGIGDXG protect my bass guitar?
No. The CGIGDXG is designed for most ESP electric guitars with standard body shapes. It does not accommodate bass guitars and explicitly excludes V, EX, and AX body shapes.
Which offers better protection — hardshell or gig bag?
The CAPBASSFF hardshell provides maximum rigid protection against crushing and major impacts, while the CGIGDXG's 20mm padding offers substantial but lighter protection suited for regular gigging rather than long-term storage.
Which is more portable for regular gigging?
The CGIGDXG gig bag is lighter and more convenient for frequent transport with its dual handles and accessory pockets. The CAPBASSFF hardshell is heavier and better suited for stationary protection and occasional transport.
