The guitar he is introducing on this tour: AR11S/JC-AM
Baton Rouge built a second Misko signature specifically for this tour, and it is the one he is showing at every concert. The AR11S/JC-AM keeps the ideas that make his flagship work — a jumbo straight cutaway body, fan frets on a 643–700 mm multiscale, and a wide 48 mm bone nut — on a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone saddle, chrome tuners and a thin natural satin finish. Factory strung with D'Addario.
At $499 it is the first Misko signature under $500. Our first shipment of six lands in early September; pre-order now and yours ships the day they arrive.
His flagship: AR31S/JC-AM
The Baton Rouge AR31S/JC-AM Alexandr Misko Signature ($1,199) is the guitar behind most of the Final Boss recordings: the same jumbo cutaway and multiscale fan-fret layout, with a pau ferro back and walnut sides, rosewood binding, and the option of a Fishman Rare Earth Blend pickup and Keith banjo tuners for his signature detuning tricks. We have three in stock, ready to ship free anywhere in the continental US.
Why these guitars suit percussive fingerstyle
- Multiscale fan frets — the bass side runs 700 mm, so drop tunings (Misko lives in C and below) stay tight and clear; the treble side at 643 mm keeps stretches comfortable.
- 48 mm nut — wider than a typical steel-string, giving room for thumb-slaps, harmonics and independent bass lines without fret-hand collisions.
- Jumbo body with a straight cutaway — more air for body percussion and low end, with full access above the 14th fret.
- Bone nut and saddle, satin finish — maximum string-to-top energy transfer for tapping and harmonics.
