This card establishes a 32 x 32 audio interface between the Vi console and the Soundweb London digital audio bus, with the flexibility to select any 32 sequential channels from a maximum of 256 available channels via internal DIP switches. The BLU Link protocol supports distances up to 100 meters using standard CAT5e cabling, or extends to 10 kilometers using single mode fiber with a BSS Audio MC-1 media converter—ideal for distributed recording setups, multi-room monitoring, and networked production environments where channel count and distance are critical.

Clock Management & System Integration

The card functions as either a clock master or clock slave, providing flexible synchronization options within complex multi-device setups. It includes a jumper cable for wordclock connection and is compatible with Vi6 Local Rack, Compact Stagebox, Vi1, Vi3000, and Vi Stagebox platforms, making it a versatile addition to existing Soundcraft Vi-series infrastructure.
