The MAC ENCORE WASH is a compact yet powerful LED wash luminaire engineered for studio and live recording environments where silent operation is non-negotiable. Its convection-cooled design eliminates fan noise while delivering consistent output, making it ideal for tracking sessions and broadcast applications where audio fidelity cannot be compromised by equipment cooling systems.

Optical Performance & Color Control

A pure white LED engine at 6000 K provides true-white baseline illumination with extensive color-mixing capability through independent CMY channels (0–100% each) and variable color temperature control from 6000 K down to 2700 K for warm applications. The 6-position color wheel with interchangeable dichroic filters enables quick preset selections, indexing, continuous rotation, and random-color modes without sacrificing the purity of LED-mixed output.

Optical Control & Cooling Design

The 14 to 60-degree zoom range adapts from tight beam work to wide-area coverage, with internal barn doors featuring independently controllable blade insertion and ±100° module rotation for precise edge shaping. Flicker-free LED operation rated for all camera applications ensures seamless performance in recording and live-streaming sessions, while user-selectable convection and forced-air cooling balances thermal management against acoustic requirements.
