With a 98 dB sensitivity rating and 128 dB maximum SPL, the JRX212 delivers commanding output from modest amplifier power. The 90° x 50° nominal dispersion combined with a dual-angle pole-mount socket (10° tilt capability) ensures uniform coverage across stage monitoring positions, while the Progressive Transition™ waveguide on the high-frequency driver reduces distortion and smooths response across the critical crossover region.

Drivers & Power Handling

The system pairs a JBL 12 in low-frequency driver with a 64 mm edgewound ribbon voice coil—which provides greater cross-sectional wire area than round wire designs for improved efficiency—with a JBL 2414H-C 25 mm polymer diaphragm compression driver. The advanced network topology crossover at 2.1 kHz uses high-voltage capacitors and inductors with heavy gauge wire to handle 250 watts continuous and 1000 watts peak power without saturation, while SonicGuard™ protection safeguards the high-frequency driver from excess power during live performance.
