A 380 mm (15-inch) low frequency driver with JBL's Differential Drive dual voice coil and dual magnetic gap pairs with a 38 mm (1.5-inch) compression driver routed through a Progressive Transition waveguide to maintain tight 120 x 60° coverage. The result is uniform sound distribution across the mixing plane with frequency response spanning 41 Hz to 18 kHz, providing the low-end extension and midrange clarity essential for accurate monitoring and recording work.

Cabinet Construction & System Integration

The enclosure uses multiply birch with heavy internal bracing, wrapped in JBL's DuraFlex finish for durability in both studio and live tracking environments. A 14 gauge steel grille with acoustically transparent foam lining protects the drivers, while 15 M10 threaded attachment points and a rotatable horn (vertical or horizontal orientation) enable precise placement in monitor arrays, isolation booths, and mobile recording setups.
