This ESP guitar is nothing short of amazing. The build quality is impeccable. It's hard to beat the stunning liquid metal lava paint job on this - it's sinister swirling black paint into pools of red blood! Add the red binding on the body, neck and headstock that glows red under intense lights and that takes it to a whole new level. If you've seen Slayer on their Final Tour, you've seen Gary play this guitar. Gary had great input on designing this guitar and I love the nods to classic LP's - the Eclipse body style, the inlays, and the scale. This guitar's red EMG pickups are in-your-face and built for mayhem but they sound so clean through the dirty channel that they really handle chugging, aggressive rhythms without getting muddy or sloppy. The neck is so easy to get around and the guitar really lends itself to shredding. Handbuilt one at a time in Japan, this guitar is exceptional in every regard!
