The DGX800/1600-ASB delivers a 16x16 audio switching matrix for the DGX 800 or 24x24 matrix for the DGX 1600, allowing flexible source-to-destination routing across all connected audio paths. This matrix-based approach eliminates single-path bottlenecks and enables complex multi-channel audio distribution for overdubbing, monitoring, and submix workflows without requiring external processors.

Audio I/O & DSP Processing

The kit includes four 3.5 mm 10-position captive-wire terminals supporting balanced or unbalanced stereo audio, plus 8 or 16 embedded digital audio inputs from video input positions (2-channel PCM), and 8 auxiliary analog inputs and outputs per board.
