This controller processes Full HD video input via DVI-D connectivity and scales it across systems up to 100,000 pixels distributed to 2,000 fixtures. The unit maintains 16-bit per-color processing depth (48 bits per pixel) and supports all standard resolutions up to 1920×1080 at 60fps with 8-bit color depth in RGB 4:4:4 sampling. System latency sits at just 2 frames with progressive scan only, ensuring tight synchronization between video content and fixture response.

Connectivity & Control Integration

The P3-050 connects to the entire Martin P3 ecosystem via Gigabit Ethernet (etherCON) supporting daisy-chain configurations of up to 50 fixtures per run, extendable via Ethernet switch. Dual control pathways—DMX in/thru on 5-pin XLR and DVI video in/thru—allow real-time crossfading between video mapping and DMX pixel control.
