Description
Schecter E-1 FR S Special Edition Electric Guitar in Trans Purple Burst
This E-1 FR S Special Edition is engineered for studio tracking and production work that demands both precision and sonic character. The thin 'C' neck profile and set-neck construction enable fast, accurate performance across extended passages, while the mahogany body with quilted maple top captures warm, resonant tones with excellent sustain and definition in the mix. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and active Sustainiac pickup system provide the tonal flexibility and expressive control needed for layered arrangement work and progressive material.
Playability & Recording Precision
The three-piece mahogany neck features carbon fiber reinforcement rods for stability and a thin 'C' profile that measures 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, allowing consistent intonation and smooth position shifts during multi-take sessions. A 25.5" scale length and 12"-16" compound radius ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets support precise articulation, clean chord voicings, and aggressive bending techniques without dead spots or fret noise artifacts.
Tone & Pickup Architecture
The bridge position houses a Schecter USA Apocalypse VI humbucker paired with a Sustainiac neck pickup, controlled via dedicated on/off and mode-selection mini switches alongside master volume and tone controls. This configuration delivers focused, high-output aggression for rhythm layers and lead tracking in the bridge position, while the Sustainiac neck pickup enables sustain and feedback effects ranging from ambient texture layers to intense harmonic content—useful for building depth and dimension across multiple guitar tracks.

The instrument is packed with every single desired feature one could wish for. Stainless steel frets, Floyd Rose tremolo, fantastic sounding pickups. How about the carbon fiber binding on body and fretboard. The sustainiac feature puts this over the top. I might have to buy another one. Service from studiogears is spectacular. Don took care of everything. The guitar arrived in 2 days. I will buying again from studiogears!
