Sony HDW-F900 CineAlta high definition camcorder is the ultimate production tool. In addition to high definition 1920 x 1080 images and high quality 12 bit A/D conversion, the camera supports the capture rates of 50i and 60i for PAL or NTSC based television production, and, for the first time in a digital video camera, 24, 25 and 30 frames progressive scan, making the HDW-F900 ideal for high quality digital cinematography. The HDW-F900 has been successfully used on many high profile projects including Star Wars Episode II. The camera has a range of optional accessories to suit any application from ENG style production in high definition, to film style digital cinematography.
