The FSB 6 fluid head is available with either the Snap & Go sideload plate S or with the classic Touch & Go camera plate, both with a 10-step counterbalance system. The sideload system gives the camera plate an exceptional sliding range of 120 mm. The fluid heads have three damping steps, horizontally and vertically each, as well as zero.
Sachtler is presenting its new battery concept, the FSB-Cell, at NAB. The F-Cell is an extremely powerful 7.2 volt lithium ion rechargeable battery for MiniDV and (H)DV cameras that is fitted directly below the camera.
Combined with Sachtler's new FSB 2 and FSB 6 fluid heads, it forms the heart of the new battery concept. The lower side of the battery is shaped like a camera plate, letting it be mounted exactly on the fluid head. This ensures safe attachment, while the weight of the battery on the fluid head improves handling for the camera operator, ensuring even, steady pans.
